I've seen the images of starving and suffering children in Africa and I know that their needs go far beyond needing shoes. These children are lacking basic nutrition and available medications to keep them alive.
Basic medications for children suffering various conditions there are only $25. That includes treatment for Malaria! In Africa a child dies every 45 seconds of malaria and the disease accounts for approximately 20% of all childhood deaths. A donation of just $25 can save the life of one child.
